The Residential Real Estate Rule mandates that designated professionals participating in residential real estate closings and settlements file reports with FinCEN for specific non-financed transfers of residential property to legal entities or trusts. These reporting obligations apply to qualifying transfers taking place on or after March 1, 2026.
